Adds your province's sales tax to prices on Amazon.ca, so the price you see reflects what you'll actually pay at checkout. Amazon shows pre-tax prices while you browse, and the tax only shows up at the very end of checkout. Sales Tax Gross-Up for Amazon.ca folds the tax back into the prices up front, so the number you see reflects roughly what you'll actually pay. Pick your province or territory once (click the extension icon) and prices are grossed up by that province's combined sales-tax rate — HST, GST, or GST + PST/QST depending on where you live. All 13 provinces and territories are supported. Grossed-up prices are recoloured (teal) and tagged with a small "incl. tax" label, so it's always obvious which numbers the extension has changed. Features: • Adds your province's sales tax to prices across amazon.ca — search results, product pages, the cart, and the cart side-sheet. • Province selector for all 13 provinces & territories, each with its real combined rate. • Clearly marks every modified price (teal colour + "incl. tax" tag). • Handles Amazon's different price layouts and prices that load as you scroll. • Runs only on amazon.ca. It does nothing on any other website. Please note: • This is an estimate for convenience, not an official tax calculation. It applies your selected province's combined rate to every price and does not try to detect items that are tax-exempt or taxed differently. • Prices are left unchanged until you choose a province. • Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon. Privacy: this extension collects no personal data. Everything happens locally in your browser; it makes no network requests and contacts no servers.
