Description

Change YouTube playback speed quickly and remember it locally. Tempo changes YouTube playback speed with three keyboard shortcuts: ] increases speed, [ decreases it, and \ resets it to 1×. Speeds move in 0.25× steps from 0.25× to 4×, and a brief inline indicator confirms each change. Shortcuts pause while you edit text. Tempo remembers one preferred speed locally across videos, YouTube navigation, and browser restarts. It makes no network requests and is not affiliated with YouTube or Google.
