TabVault is a private, local-first tab and session manager for people who work with many browser tabs. Save the current tab, selected tabs, the current window, or every open window as an organized workspace. Restore a complete workspace in a new window, replace the current window, or reopen only the links you need. ORGANIZE BROWSER WORK Name workspaces and organize them with folders, tags, colors and icons. Favorite, pin, duplicate, archive, hide, lock and snooze saved workspaces. Search open tabs, saved workspaces and bookmarks from one dashboard. Preserve supported tab-group names, colors and pinned-tab state when restoring. Detect duplicate open tabs and close them in bulk. RECOVERY AND BACKUPS Keep automatic local recovery snapshots. Review recently closed tabs and windows. Create local backups before important changes. Export password-protected portable backups using AES-GCM encryption. Import TabVault, Session Buddy, OneTab, Tab Session Manager, bookmark HTML and URL-list data. Export sessions as JSON, Markdown, CSV, TSV, text, URL lists, HTML or bookmark HTML. FAST, PRIVATE AND OFFLINE-FIRST TabVault has no account, cloud service, analytics, advertising or tracking. Saved URLs, titles, groups, bookmarks, notes and settings remain in extension-owned local browser storage. Nothing is sent to the developer or a third-party server. An optional interface password and recovery key can restrict access to TabVault screens. The normal local database is not encrypted at rest; encrypted portable backups are available when a protected external copy is needed. Use the full dashboard for detailed organization, the side panel for quick access, or Alt+Shift+S to save the current window.
