Syncs the YouTube video you're watching with the TrackLay app to build your OBS overlay. TrackLay Sync connects your browser to the TrackLay desktop app, so your stream overlay always shows the song that's actually playing — automatically, with zero typing. HOW IT WORKS Once installed, the extension quietly watches which YouTube video is open and follows its real playback time. That information is sent straight to the TrackLay app, which matches it against the video's tracklist (from the description or comments) and updates your OBS overlay in real time. BUILT FOR LONG SETS Most music overlays are designed for single tracks. TrackLay Sync is built for DJ sets, live streams, and long mixes — it keeps tracking playback for hours, switching tracks at exactly the right moment, even in a two-hour set. WHAT IT DOES - Detects the YouTube video currently playing in your browser - Reads the video's real-time playback position - Sends that data to the TrackLay app (running locally on your PC) - Works silently in the background — no popups, no extra clicks PRIVACY FIRST TrackLay Sync only reads the YouTube tab you're actively watching.
