Dark theme for Google Docs: dark paper, dark toolbars and menus, tunable brightness and contrast. Not affiliated with Google. Google Docs goes dark — including the page itself. Most dark-mode extensions stop at the toolbars and leave you staring at a white sheet of paper. Dark Docs inverts the page too, so a long writing session stops glaring back at you. WHAT IT DOES - Darkens the toolbars, menus, dialogs, comment sidebar and document tabs. - Inverts the page itself, keeping photos and drawings true to colour. - Tunable brightness and contrast, so the paper is as dark as you like it. - Leaves the page alone when it is already dark — if you have set a dark page colour, it will not invert it back to white. - A "Full invert" mode for maximum compatibility. - Toggle instantly with Alt+Shift+D, or from the toolbar button. - Your settings follow you to every Chrome you are signed in to. PRIVACY Dark Docs collects nothing. It sends nothing anywhere. It has no analytics and no accounts. Its only permission is "storage", used to remember your brightness, contrast and on/off preference.
