Plot the first two columns of selected TXT, CSV, and XLSX files in Google Drive. Preview numeric data files directly in Google Drive without opening a spreadsheet or downloading the file first. Data Plot Preview for Google Drive displays a line chart when you select one supported file in the Google Drive file list. Features: • Supports uploaded TXT, CSV, and XLSX files. • Uses the first column as the X axis and the second column as the Y axis. • For single-column files, uses the row number as the X axis. • For XLSX files, reads the first worksheet and its first two columns. • Supports UTF-8, Big5/Windows-950, and BOM-marked UTF-16 text files. • Copies the plotted data as tab-separated values for pasting into Excel or other spreadsheet software. • Copies the chart as an image. • Saves the chart as a PNG file. • Reloads the selected file on demand. • Uses a compact, minimal interface inside Google Drive. How it works: 1. Connect the extension to Google Drive. 2. Select one TXT, CSV, or XLSX file in the Google Drive file list. 3. The extension downloads the selected file through the Google Drive API. 4. The file is parsed and plotted locally in your browser. 5. Use the icon buttons to copy the data, copy the chart, save a PNG, reload the file, or collapse the preview. Privacy: File contents are processed on the user's device. The extension does not use a developer-operated data server and does not transmit file contents to advertisers or other third parties. Google authorization uses the drive.readonly scope. Although this scope technically permits viewing and downloading Drive files, the extension implementation requests only the file that the user actively selects. It cannot modify, delete, or upload files. Limitations: • Native Google Sheets files are not currently supported. • Password-protected or encrypted XLSX files are not supported. • The maximum supported file size is 8 MiB. • A file may contain up to 100,000 plotted data points.
