You find out. refreshme reloads tabs on a timer and watches pages for the change you care about — a keyword appearing, a price moving, a queue opening. No account, no servers, nothing about your browsing leaving your machine. REFRESH, YOUR WAY • Any interval from 1 second. PRIVACY IS THE DEFAULT On the free tier with no watches configured, refreshme makes no network requests at all. Watching a page means requesting that page — from your browser, directly, with nothing of ours in between. Pro adds exactly one host of our own, api.polar.sh, to check the license key you typed in. Site access is optional and per site, asked for only when a feature has to run inside the page. Your settings ride your own Chrome profile. We have no servers, so there is nowhere for your data to go. TAKE IT WITH YOU Export your watches and remembered sites to a JSON file and import them anywhere. Your license and your alert settings stay on this machine on purpose — an import should never quietly re-point your alerts at somebody else's webhook. HONEST LIMITS • This is a browser extension. Nothing runs while your laptop is shut. • Background checks read the page's HTML, so they work best on server-rendered sites. For app-like pages, use an open-tab watch. • CSS selectors work in open-tab watches only — a background check has no page to query. • Some sites block automated requests. refreshme says so instead of going quiet.
