A soft, low-contrast dark brown theme for calm evening reading. Soft Focus Night is the evening half of Soft Focus. I made both themes during the same quiet stretch of time. Once the cream version became my daytime colour, I wanted something for late nights that felt just as calm: no harsh black, no bright white, only warm dark brown. What it changes - Tab strip: deep brown, a step darker than the toolbar, so the open tab is easy to find - Toolbar, bookmarks bar and New Tab page: warm dark brown - Text: soft cream, not pure white - New Tab links: warm terracotta - Incognito windows: an almost-black frame, so private windows stand out What it does not change Web pages keep their own colours. Soft Focus Night changes the browser around them, not the websites themselves. Small details I cared about Every text colour was checked against its background. Tab and address bar text sits between about 10:1 and 12:1, well above the usual 4.5:1 guideline. Privacy A theme is only colours and an icon. Soft Focus Night has no code, asks for no permissions and collects no data. Works in Chrome, Brave and Edge on a computer.
