Six pastel themes for YouTube with a live preview, custom accent colour, and layout toggles. Pastel Player restyles YouTube in one of fourteen soft colour themes. Pick a palette, set your own accent colour, and adjust the corners, card edges, and spacing until the page looks the way you want. A live preview in the popup shows every change before it lands. THEMES Ten light palettes — Sakura, Cotton, Peach, Butter, Matcha, Seafoam, Blueberry, Lavender, Taro, and Rosewater. Four dark palettes — Midnight, Nocturne, Ember, and Charcoal. CONTROLS - Custom accent colour, with button text switched to light or dark automatically so it stays readable - Corners: round, soft, or square - Card edges: dashed, solid, or none - Spacing: tight, medium, or roomy - Progress marker: heart, star, cloud, or plain dot - Rounded thumbnails, on or off - Themed video player, on or off - Fit more videos per row - Hide the Shorts shelf - Hide the comments section - Copy and paste themes to share a setup with someone else - One switch turns the whole thing off without uninstalling WORKS ON youtube.com, m.youtube.com, and music.youtube.com. PRIVACY Pastel Player makes no network requests. Every colour, icon, and shape is included in the extension package — nothing is loaded from an outside server. There is no analytics, no telemetry, and no account. The only thing stored is your own theme settings, saved with Chrome's sync storage so they follow your profile. The only permission requested is "storage", used to remember your settings. HOW IT WORKS Most YouTube themes override individual page elements one at a time, which breaks whenever YouTube ships an interface change. Pastel Player instead overrides YouTube's own design tokens, so the theme holds through re-renders and applies to parts of the interface a hand-written list would miss.
