Collaborative co-browsing and annotation tool for remote teams ScreenSync is a Chrome extension that lets people look at the same webpage together in a shared session. After you create or join a session with a short code, participants can: • See each other’s cursors on the page • Draw freehand notes on top of the page • Place numbered comments on specific spots • Use a simple toolbar while collaborating • Optionally use voice chat during a session • Record the tab and save the recording for later review • Open past sessions from local history in the extension How it works 1. Install the extension and open it from the Chrome toolbar. 2. Create a session to get a shareable code, or enter a code to join. 3. Stay on the webpage you want to review. Tools appear as an overlay. 4. Leave the session when you are finished. Plans • Free: limited sessions and basic tools • Pro: more sessions and higher recording quality (paid through the in-extension checkout) Permissions ScreenSync needs access to the active tab so it can show the collaboration overlay and capture the tab when you start a recording. Session data is synced through ScreenSync servers for the duration of the session. Display name and preferences are stored in the extension on your device.
