Steam wishlist and store-page price radar with drop alerts, live player counts, and a competition dashboard for indie developers. Indie Radar turns your Steam wishlist and any Steam store page into a price radar. RADAR — two modes on one dial • Wishlist — your Steam wishlist with current price, discount, Deal Quality and live player counts. Filter to indie only, non-indie, or everything. • This page — every game on the Steam page you are viewing, ranked by best offer, with the discount, the old price struck through, and the cash saved. No sign-in needed. Both plot onto a radar dial where position and brightness mean something: bearing is genre, distance from centre is price, brightness is how many people are playing right now. WHAT MAKES THE DATA HONEST Steam publishes no price history, so Indie Radar records its own. Until it has enough, Deal Quality says "Tracking" instead of pretending a full-price game is a bad deal. A game is only flagged dead when both player count and recent review flow are near zero. When something cannot be determined, the extension says which piece is missing. PRICE DROP ALERTS A background check compares against the price you were last shown — so an alert means "cheaper than when you last looked", not merely "on sale". INDIE RADAR PRO — competition dashboard Pick any Steam tag and see what you are up against before choosing a release date: • Saturation — exact counts of titles released per month, and how many still have a pulse • Momentum — release volume across four quarters, rising, flat or falling • Review velocity — whether the top titles are still gaining or have plateaued • Pricing — the range and median among titles that actually sold • Seasonality — which months are crowded and which are quiet • Release timing — a best/avoid window with plain-language reasoning that cites the actual numbers behind it • CSV export of the whole competition set Pro is a one-time $7 purchase — no subscription.
rating_count is the Chrome Web Store ratings count, not a written-review count.
