A new tab where the time is the verse. At 4:18 the clock reads 1 John 4:18. Bible Minute turns your new tab into a clock where the time is the citation. At 4:18 it shows you 1 John 4:18. A minute later it is a different book and a different line. Every one of the 720 minutes on a twelve hour clock has a verse of its own, so the day reads through scripture a minute at a time. WHAT YOU GET • 720 verses, one for every minute, from the World English Bible • Forty photographs that follow the hour, from first light to night • An alarm you can set for a time or for a number of minutes from now • A quiet page: no feed, no counters, nothing asking to be clicked THE VERSES Drawn from the World English Bible, which is in the public domain. Where a minute has no natural verse the deuterocanonical books fill it, so no minute of the day is empty. Genealogies and lists of names are filtered out, and the famous minutes are pinned to the verse you would expect: 3:16 is John, 8:28 is Romans, 6:23 is Romans. THE PHOTOGRAPHS Forty, five for each part of the day, changing every twelve minutes and drifting slowly while you read. Every one is credited to its photographer in the corner and links back to their page. PRIVACY Nothing is collected. No account, no tracking, no analytics, no network requests at all: the verses, the photographs and the fonts are all inside the extension. The only permissions requested are the two the alarm needs.
