Sorts Amazon and Walmart search results by what things really cost per ounce, pound, sheet or count. Cheapest first. The bigger box is not always the better deal, and the store never sorts by the number that tells you. This does. Search Amazon or Walmart the way you always do. Every result gets a shelf tag showing what it costs per ounce, per pound, per sheet, per load or per count, and the page is reordered cheapest first. The best value on the page is marked. WHAT IT DOES - Sorts search results by unit price, cheapest first - Puts a clear tag on every result showing the cost per unit - Marks the best value on the page - Hides anything over a price you set, in the same units the page is showing - Clears out the sponsored rows and carousels so you see the actual results - Remembers what things cost, so you can see when something is cheaper than the last time you looked IT CHECKS THE STORE'S OWN MATH Stores print a unit price supplied by the seller, and it is sometimes wrong. A listing that claims to be a bargain because someone typed the pack size in wrong will sit at the top of any sort that trusts it. This reads the size out of the product title as well and compares the two. Anything that does not add up is flagged and kept out of the top spots rather than headlining your search. Weight and volume are never mixed together, because converting between them needs to know the density of what is in the bottle. If a search has both, the larger group is ranked and the rest are set aside, and it says so. TURNING IT OFF One click on the bar, and the page goes back exactly as the store served it, in the order the store put it. The bar stays where it is so you can turn it back on from the same place. Nothing is hidden behind a settings page. YOUR PRICES AND HISTORY STAY ON YOUR COMPUTER Everything it learns about prices is kept in your own browser and is never uploaded. No account and no sign-in. What you search for is not sent anywhere. Works on amazon.com, amazon.ca and walmart.com.
