The body is a vibrant lime green, while the back and wings are beautifully detailed with fine, dark, scalloped markings, giving them a rich, speckled pattern. A long, slender blue tail tapers gracefully from the body. This species, originating from the arid grasslands of Australia, is celebrated for its nomadic nature in the wild, constantly seeking out water and seeding grasses.
