Keeps your Ring camera live view online with automatic reconnect. Local, private, no tracking. Pro Cockpit for Ring Cam is a lightweight Chrome extension that keeps your Ring camera live view connected. When the stream drops — which happens more often than it should — it reconnects automatically within seconds, so you never miss what's happening at your door. WHAT IT DOES • Watches the Ring live view in the background • Detects dropped or stalled streams within seconds • Reconnects automatically, no manual reloads • Shows a red toolbar icon the moment the connection drops • Keeps a local log of the last 50 reconnect events so you can see what happened overnight WHY WE BUILT IT Ring's web live view randomly disconnects after a few minutes, especially on slower connections. If you leave a tab open to watch the driveway while you work, you come back to a frozen frame. Pro Cockpit for Ring Cam fixes that — no setup, no fiddling, no account required. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Your reconnect settings, the local event log, and the optional encrypted password vault stay on your device (chrome.storage.local) • No tracking, no telemetry, no analytics • No tracking, telemetry, or analytics servers. Optional Pro features (license check, notifications) contact only the services you enable • The free version stores NO Ring credentials • Pro auto-login (optional): uses Chrome's password manager and/or an explicitly enabled, locally AES-GCM-encrypted password vault (never synced, never sent to any server, deletable anytime). 2FA stays manual • Open source under MIT license WHAT IT IS NOT This is an independent third-party product. It is not made by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Ring LLC or Amazon.com, Inc. "Ring" is a registered trademark of Ring LLC. You still need a regular Ring account and you still log in normally — the extension just keeps the live view tab healthy. FREE VS. PRO Free keeps ONE camera alive: automatic reconnect for a single live view, including freeze detection and recovery. Pro (€9.99 once — lifetime) unlocks everything else: multi-camera auto-reconnect and monitoring, one-click "All cameras", auto-login (via Chrome's password manager, plus an optional encrypted vault), an uptime dashboard, push notifications (Telegram, Discord, Pushover, email), and one-click recording (beta). AVAILABLE IN 12 LANGUAGES English, German, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Hindi, and Indonesian.
