Spool copies any post and its entire comment thread — every reply, properly nested — and exports it as Markdown, JSON, plain text, CSV or HTML. One click puts the whole discussion on your clipboard or into a file, ready to paste into your notes, a document, a spreadsheet, or an AI assistant. Stop copy-pasting comments one by one. Whether you are saving a discussion for research, archiving a thread before it disappears, or feeding a conversation to an AI tool, Spool captures the post and every reply in the structure they were written in. CHOOSE YOUR FORMAT Markdown keeps the conversation nested as bullet points, with authors, timestamps and scores. JSON gives you the full structured tree for scripts and data work. Plain text is indented and ready for any notes app. CSV opens directly in a spreadsheet, one row per comment, with a column for reply depth. HTML pastes into rich-text editors with replies as nested quotes. CAPTURE THE WHOLE CONVERSATION Long discussions only load a handful of comments at a time. Click "Load all" and Spool scrolls the page for you, opening the "show more replies" links it finds along the way, until the thread stops growing. Stop it at any point and keep everything gathered so far; start it again later and it continues from where it left off. CONTROL WHAT YOU COPY Include or leave out the original post, and the timestamps and scores, with a single toggle. Your chosen format is remembered for next time. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Spool reads only the page you are looking at, and only when you click it. Everything is processed locally in your browser. Nothing is collected, stored remotely, or sent anywhere. There are no accounts, no analytics, and no third-party services. Spool recognizes the comment layouts used by major discussion and social platforms, and falls back to a general detector on other sites. Websites change their layouts without notice, so extraction can occasionally break; report the page and it will be fixed in an update.
