Eye-care dark mode for every website with per site setting. NightCare creates comfortable, readable dark themes for websites as you browse. Use one global setup or choose different behavior and themes for individual sites. Main features: - Automatic dark styling for regular and dynamically updated pages - Per-site On, Global, and Off controls - Soft gray, AMOLED black, Sepia reading, Solarized dark, and High contrast presets - Brightness, contrast, sepia, and font preferences - Optional system dark-mode synchronization - Detection that can leave already-dark websites unchanged - Protection for photos, videos, maps, and meaningful status colors - Keyboard shortcut: Alt+Shift+D Privacy: NightCare processes page presentation locally to apply dark-mode styling. It does not operate developer servers, run advertising or analytics, sell data, or transmit browsing history to the developer. Settings are stored with Chrome Storage Sync and may sync through the user’s signed-in Chrome profile. Permission explanation: - Storage: saves global and per-site preferences using Chrome Storage Sync. - Website access on HTTP and HTTPS pages: required to inspect page presentation and apply NightCare’s dark styling.
