Terms Agent helps you understand the exposure hidden inside Terms of Service, privacy policies, cookie notices, and related agreements. Open a policy and Terms Agent will: • detect potentially important clauses affecting privacy, money, rights, content, and control; • explain each flag in plain language; • link every finding to the exact source passage; • find associated Terms, Privacy, Cookie, Subscription, Refund, and other policy pages; • preserve your latest Agree or Disagree decision as a local Trust Receipt; and • organize your receipts by service or threat category. Terms Agent is deliberately cautious. A flag is evidence to investigate, not a legal verdict, and the absence of a flag does not mean a policy is safe. The extension uses transparent phrase matching and can miss or misclassify clauses. It is not legal advice. The Chrome Web Store preview processes policy content locally and stores Trust Receipts in Chrome's local extension storage. It does not click acceptance controls, submit decisions to websites, or transmit policy content and receipts to the developer.
