Listen to Spotify in your browser with fewer ad interruptions. Works on Spotify's website and embedded players. Spotify Adblock cuts down ad interruptions while you use Spotify in your browser. Use the full site at open.spotify.com or listen through an embedded player on a blog, news site, or anywhere else—it works the same. When ads play, it reacts quickly: many audio ads get muted, and it tones down noisy promo clutter when it can, so your music and podcasts stay in focus. All of that happens only inside Spotify’s own player and embed frames. The extension uses Chrome’s DeclarativeNetRequest API (declared in the manifest) together with on-page logic to limit some Spotify ad-related traffic. It is not a full-site ad blocker for the open web, and it does not strip normal ads on the page around an embedded player.
