Description
Free accessibility checker for Squarespace and any web page. Find WCAG and ADA issues: alt text, color contrast, form labels. Free WCAG and ADA accessibility checker for Squarespace and any website. Check any page in one click and see exactly what an accessibility evaluator would flag. • Errors, the definite WCAG failures • Contrast, low-contrast text with the measured ratio and the colors involved • Alerts, things worth a manual review • Features, the accessibility features already present (alt text, form labels, page language) • Structure, your heading outline and landmark regions • ARIA, the roles and ARIA attributes in use It also drops markers directly on the page so you can see exactly where each issue is, and every issue links to plain English guidance on how to fix it. Everything runs locally in your browser. No account, no sign up, and nothing about the pages you check leaves your computer. Built by Kat ADA, a done-for-you web accessibility service for Squarespace. If you'd rather not fix things yourself, Kat ADA can scan your whole site and make the real source fixes for you, then send a dated record of the work. Run a free full-site scan at katadaapp.com. Automated checks catch roughly a third to half of all accessibility issues, so a clean result is a good sign, not a guarantee. No tool can guarantee compliance or prevent a lawsuit, and this extension is not legal advice.
