Reads purchase history from Fidelity to calculate CAGR This extension calculates the Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) for your Fidelity account positions based on your "Purchase history". Simply click on a position and select the "Purchase history" view, then click the "Analyze Current Page" button in the extension. Each time you click "Analyze Current Page", the extension reads the necessary values from the "Purchase history" tables you have revealed and calculates the CAGR. There is no data entry on your part. You simply reveal what you want analyzed, and the extension does the math. Use the sorting and filtering options to help you make decisions on what to keep or sell. If present, click "Show All" at the bottom of any "Purchase history" table you have revealed to include all purchases for that position in the analysis. You can have multiple "Purchase history" tables revealed at once, and they will all be pulled into the extension for CAGR calculation, sorting, and filtering. The analysis produces a sortable list of your purchases by CAGR (if held longer than 1 year) and Total Return (if held for less than 1 year). This information can help you decide if you want to exit a portion of your position. The initial report defaults to sorting by "Lowest Return", with additional options for "Purchase Date" and "Highest Return". Version 1.3: Added a check box to "Only show long-term positions (> 1 year)". This is useful for choosing lots to sell that benefit from favorable tax treatment. Let us know if you have ideas for more features, and we will try to incorporate them!
