Click the toolbar button on any product page to send the product and its 3D model to The Good Room Planner. Plan your room with the actual furniture you're shopping for. The Good Room Planner (thegoodroomplanner.com) is a free browser room planner: draw your real room at true measurements and furnish it in 3D. This extension is its capture companion, browse any product page, click the toolbar button, and the product lands in your planner's review dialog: name, dimensions, price, photo, and the retailer's own 3D model when the page has one (IKEA publishes them for much of its range). HOW IT WORKS 1. Open your planner at thegoodroomplanner.com in one tab. 2. Browse to a product page you like, in any shop. 3. Click the extension button. The product appears in your planner, at its true size. Works on any site with standard product data (schema.org or OpenGraph), far beyond IKEA. Products without a published 3D model become an exact-dimension stand-in with the product photo, so "will it fit?" is still answered honestly. PRIVACY, PLAINLY - Reads ONLY the tab you click it on, only at that moment (Chrome's activeTab). - No standing access to any website. It cannot see your browsing. - Everything stays in your browser: capture data goes from the shop tab to your planner tab. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else. No analytics.
