Help parents manage YouTube subscriptions for their kids - bulk unsubscribe and block unwanted channels from recommendations YouTube Manager for Parents helps you clean up a child's YouTube account in bulk instead of one channel at a time, and point it toward better content. What it does: • Clean Up Recommendations: scans the YouTube homepage and applies "Don't recommend channel" to the channels you pick • Clean Up Subscriptions: loads the full subscription list and bulk-unsubscribes selected channels, including a "select the least-watched" option for pruning old subscriptions • Clean Up History: finds watch-history videos from flagged channels and removes them, which helps retrain what YouTube suggests • Good For Kids: a shared list of good channels to consider, shows which ones you already follow, and subscribes to the ones you choose • Shows progress as it works, with a per-channel result log so you know exactly what happened How it works: • Detection is list-based. A channel is flagged only when its name or handle exactly matches an entry on the shared block lists, so nothing is removed by accident • Block lists and the recommended list are shared on GitHub and refresh in the extension. You can suggest channels for any list, and the developer approves additions • Every action is performed the way you would do it by hand: the extension clicks YouTube's own controls in your tab. Actions run only when you click a button • The only network request is fetching the public channel lists from GitHub. No personal data is collected and none is sent anywhere Intended for parents managing their own child's account from the parent's browser or in a browser profile logged in with their kids Youtube profile. Works well alongside Family Link supervision when its built-in categories are too broad for your family.
