Redd-Eye is an open source extension I created to flag suspected bot accounts and AI generated content on Reddit in real time. Whether you use the modern layout or old.reddit.com, it integrates right into your feed to help you spot inauthentic activity at a glance. Key Features Real Time Detection: Fast and local ran detection algorithms scan and flag AI text and bot like behavior as you scroll through threads and comments. Visual Indicators: It uses color coded outlines and quick popups so you can instantly spot suspicious activity right on the page. Customizable Thresholds: You have full control. You can fine tune the sensitivity of both the AI and Bot detection algorithms to match your preferences using the built in sliders. Adjustable UI: I added the ability to move the settings widget to any corner of your screen so it never blocks your browsing. Seamless Compatibility: It works flawlessly across both [suspicious link removed] and old.reddit.com. Privacy First Your data belongs to you. I made sure Redd-Eye operates entirely locally on your machine. There is absolutely zero data collection, zero telemetry, and no hidden subscriptions.
