Save and restore tabs in searchable collections. Find any saved link, organize projects, and keep your browser clear. No account. Save your tabs. Clear your browser. Return to the work that matters. Tabstead is a local tab manager for research, study, reading lists, and project work. Save selected Chrome tabs as a collection, then find and reopen them when you need them. No account, ads, or cloud sync. SAVE WITHOUT LOSING YOUR PLACE Select the tabs you want, give the collection a name, and save. Filter a long tab list by title or website. Selecting filtered results leaves hidden tabs unchanged, with a count showing what is still selected. Optionally close tabs after they are safely saved; pinned tabs and tabs playing audio stay open. FIND THE EXACT LINK Search collection names, page titles, and websites. Matching links appear directly in the results, so you can open one page without reopening the whole workspace. Sort collections by newest, oldest, or name, and star your favorites. REOPEN WITHOUT DUPLICATES Open all links in a collection. Tabstead skips exact links already open in regular Chrome windows. Your saved collection stays in the library for next time. UNDO, COPY, AND BACK UP Move a collection to Trash and undo it immediately, or recover it later. Copy URLs for a message or note, export readable Markdown links, or download a JSON backup to move your collections to another Chrome profile. Imports add collections without replacing existing ones. QUIET BY DESIGN A compact popup for quick saves. A full library for organizing your work. System, Light, and Dark appearance settings. Keyboard access, visible focus, and clear controls. YOUR LINKS STAY ON YOUR DEVICE Tabstead reads tab titles and URLs to provide these features. It does not read page content or send your collections to the publisher. No analytics, advertising, or external favicon requests. BEFORE YOU START Tabstead saves links, not page snapshots, unsaved forms, tab groups, or navigation history. Private windows, Chrome internal pages, and local files are excluded. Collections do not sync automatically. Export a backup before uninstalling because Chrome removes local extension data. Trash remains recoverable, and importing the same backup again adds another copy. Need help or have an idea? Contact product@zeplik.com.
