Export Gemini chats — including Deep Research reports — to your Obsidian vault as Markdown in one click. Give your Gemini conversations a place in your knowledge library. Gemini to Obsidian saves chats and loaded Deep Research reports directly to your selected local folder as Markdown notes. FEATURES • Export the conversation content loaded on the Gemini page. • Include loaded Deep Research reports as collapsible Obsidian callouts. • Preserve code blocks, tables, LaTeX formulas and source links. • Choose your local Obsidian vault or a subfolder. • Add a date prefix to filenames and optional YAML frontmatter. • Keep existing files: exports with the same name receive a numbered suffix. GET STARTED 1. Open the extension's Settings and choose your Obsidian vault folder. Allow write access to that folder. 2. Open a conversation at gemini.google.com and load the content you want to save. 3. Click the extension icon, then Export to Obsidian. For Deep Research, open the report panel and scroll through it before exporting. Only content loaded on the page can be exported. Long conversations may also require scrolling before export. FREE AND LIFETIME PRO The free plan exports up to 500 characters of the conversation body; long exports may end earlier at a whitespace boundary. The upgrade notice and optional YAML frontmatter are outside that limit. Lifetime Pro removes that limit for a one-time payment of US$9.99 through Gumroad, with no subscription. Applicable taxes and the final total appear at checkout. Activate Pro by entering your personal Gumroad license key in Settings. PRIVACY Conversation content is processed locally and saved to the folder you select. Conversations are not uploaded to Gumroad or developer servers. License activation and periodic verification send your license key and the product identifier to Gumroad over HTTPS. Previously verified licenses can remain usable for up to seven days after the last successful verification when the licensing service cannot be reached. First-time activation requires an internet connection. REQUIREMENTS Desktop Chrome with File System Access support and permission to write to your chosen folder.
