Auto fast-forwards through ads on SBS On Demand on-demand titles, then resumes normal playback. Unofficial, not SBS-affiliated. Skip Ads for SBS On Demand automatically fast-forwards through the ad breaks on SBS On Demand on-demand movies and episodes, then restores normal playback the moment your show comes back — so you don't have to sit through them. HOW IT WORKS SBS On Demand stitches ads directly into the video stream (server-side ad insertion), so there is no ad request to "block." Instead, this extension detects when an ad break is playing and briefly speeds the player up, muted, until the content resumes. A small "Skipping ad…" badge appears while it works. You can turn it on or off from the toolbar popup, which also shows how many ad breaks it has skipped. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • It does not work on live streams (e.g. live sport) — only on-demand titles. • It does not bypass sign-in, paywalls, or content protection (DRM). You still watch with your own free SBS account. • It does not block, intercept, or alter any network traffic. • It collects no data of any kind (see privacy policy). PRIVACY No data is collected or transmitted. The extension stores only your on/off preference and a local skip counter, on your device.
