Description
Captures clicks, navigation, and keyboard focus on recorded pages, relaying them to Solo (soloapp.so), a local test-recording app. Solo Recorder is the browser companion to Solo, a desktop test-automation platform used by QA and business teams to record and replay test flows across enterprise web applications (Salesforce, SAP, and similar systems). WHAT IT DOES While you use the Solo desktop app to record a test, this extension notifies Solo when you're on a page you've chosen to monitor, and relays basic interaction events — clicks, page navigation, and keyboard focus position — from your browser to the local Solo app running on your own computer. This lets Solo capture exactly what you did in the browser, alongside what it already records on your desktop, so your test steps play back accurately. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO This extension does not send any data to Solo's servers or any third party. All data stays on your own machine and is relayed only to your local Solo desktop app over localhost. It does not run or collect anything unless Solo is actively recording a session you started. REQUIREMENTS The Solo desktop application must be installed and running for this extension to function. Without it, the extension is idle. PERMISSIONS Broad site access is required because Solo can be used to test any web application you choose — there's no fixed list of supported sites. Access to individual sites is only activated after you explicitly grant it from the extension's popup, one site at a time. Learn more or manage your account at soloapp.so.
