Save images, videos, and links from Chrome into Hive for Mac. Requires Hive for Mac with a library open. Hive is a local-first visual library for images, videos, links, and files. This Chrome extension is a companion to Hive for Mac. It does not upload your library to Hive’s servers. Requires Hive for Mac, running with a library open. What you can do: - Drag an image, video, or link on a webpage into the Hive panel - Save the current page as a Web Clip - Capture a selected area, the visible tab, or the full page - Choose Inbox, Starred, Recent, or a folder when you drop - Use the current tab’s login when you turn on Download in Browser The extension talks only to Hive on this Mac at http://127.0.0.1:41795. Preferences such as language, theme, and shortcuts stay on the device. Safari on Mac ships inside the Hive for Mac app. Turn it on in Safari Settings, then Extensions.
