Save the current page as a card in ObsiDrop (Obsidian). ⚠️ REQUIRES OBSIDIAN: This extension does nothing on its own. It only works when the ObsiDrop plugin is installed and running inside the Obsidian desktop app. Do not install if you don't use Obsidian. ──────────────────────────────────────── ObsiDrop Web Clipper saves the current page — title, URL, and your selected text — as a Markdown card directly into your Obsidian vault via the ObsiDrop plugin. HOW IT WORKS The extension talks to a small localhost server (127.0.0.1) inside the ObsiDrop Obsidian plugin. No cloud, no account, no relay — your clipped pages go straight to your vault as plain Markdown files. FEATURES • One-click clip of the current page • Captures title, URL, and selected text • Add tags before saving • Choose a card color (11 options, colorblind-friendly labels) • Pin the note • Falls back to Obsidian URI if the plugin server is offline REQUIREMENTS • Obsidian desktop app with the ObsiDrop plugin installed and running • Enable "Web clipper" in ObsiDrop's settings and copy the token to the extension options PRIVACY The extension stores only your port number and bearer token locally (chrome.storage.local, never synced).
