Hides sponsored posts and suggested posts from your Instagram feed. No accounts, no tracking. Quite for Instagram hides adverts and suggested posts from your Instagram feed and does nothing else. - Posts marked "Ad", "Sponsored" or "Paid partnership" are hidden. - "Suggested for you" posts — accounts you do not follow, pushed into your feed — are hidden. A hidden post leaves a small labelled gap rather than vanishing outright, so you can always see that something was removed. That gap is deliberate: Instagram's feed reserves scroll space for the posts it has loaded, and closing the gap entirely leaves you scrolling into empty space while the feed struggles to catch up. Keeping a small card avoids that. Two options let you change it — one shrinks the card, and another leaves a strip with a Show button so you can put a post back. It runs only on instagram.com. It has no account, no server and no analytics, and nothing is sent to us. It stores the checkboxes you have ticked and a running count of what it has hidden. Settings use Chrome's own extension-settings sync, so with Chrome sync switched on they travel with your Chrome profile, as any extension's settings do. Instagram changes its markup regularly. When that happens some posts can start getting through until the extension is updated — it is built to fail towards "an advert gets through" rather than towards hiding a post you wanted to see.
