A reminder when the shop you're on is available on Avios or Virgin Atlantic Shops Away. Never miss your points. Independent tool. Ever finished an order and then remembered you meant to go through Shops Away or Avios first? This fixes that. Shops Away and Avios Reminder watches for one thing: whether the shop you're currently on is one of the retailers available through Virgin Atlantic Shops Away and Avios. If it is, a small card appears in the corner of your screen with a link straight to that retailer's points page. If it isn't — and that's most of the web — you will never see or hear from it. HOW IT WORKS 1. Install it and pick a corner. That's the entire setup. 2. Shop as you normally would. 3. When you land on a participating retailer, a small card appears. 4. Click through to Shops Away, log in, and press Shop Now as usual. BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY • Completely silent on non-participating sites — no card, no badge, no network requests • Never covers checkout or payment pages • Dismiss it and it stays quiet: 24 hours for the close button, 2 hours for "Maybe later" • Sits in its own isolated layer so it cannot break the shop's website • Keyboard accessible, screen-reader labelled, and respects reduced-motion settings PRIVACY The extension needs one thing: the address of the page you're on, checked against a retailer list stored on your own computer. • No browsing history is read, recorded or uploaded • No personal information, payment details or Virgin Atlantic credentials — ever • No analytics, no telemetry, no third-party scripts • One outbound request: downloading the public retailer list, once a day WHAT IT CAN'T DO This is a reminder, nothing more. It never creates, rewrites or intercepts affiliate links, and it will never tell you a purchase is definitely being tracked — only Shops Away and their partners decide that.
