Tracks website domains and time spent during VIVID focus sessions on your computer. VIVID Browser Activity Tracker is a companion for the VIVID desktop app. It records which websites you visit and how long you stay on each domain while a VIVID focus session is running. This extension does not work on its own. You need VIVID installed and a monitoring session started on the same computer. If VIVID is not running, visits are ignored. What it does • Reads the hostname of the active tab (for example github.com) • Sends that domain, plus a heartbeat, to VIVID on your machine at http://127.0.0.1:8000 • Lets you pause or resume tracking from the toolbar popup What it does not do • It does not store full URLs or page titles • It does not upload browsing data to the cloud • It does not inject scripts into websites • It does not work as a general-purpose history or spyware tool Privacy Only domain names leave the browser, and they go only to the VIVID backend on your personal computer.
