It analyzes URLs, webpages, supported email content, and QR codes using locally running machine-learning models and security analysis. DESKTOP AGENT CyberGuard AI uses a Windows Desktop Agent to automatically start and manage the local security backend. After installing the Desktop Agent, the Chrome extension can communicate with the local CyberGuard AI service automatically. The Desktop Agent is available from the project's GitHub releases. PRIVACY CyberGuard AI is designed around local processing. The core detection service runs locally on the user's computer and communicates through localhost. The extension does not require sending scanned content to a remote CyberGuard AI server. IMPORTANT CyberGuard AI provides security analysis and risk indicators. Detection results should be treated as security assistance rather than an absolute guarantee that a website, URL, email, or QR destination is safe.
