Copy YouTube captions to the clipboard and open ChatGPT via codex:// on Mac Copy YouTube captions to the clipboard and open a new chat in the ChatGPT Mac app (codex:// deep link) with a short prompt and the video title. How it works: 1. Open a YouTube video that has captions. 2. Click the extension icon. 3. The transcript is copied to your clipboard, and ChatGPT opens a new chat with a short prompt. 4. Paste the transcript (Cmd/Ctrl+V) and send. Requires the ChatGPT Mac app so codex:// links open there. If the app is not installed, the browser may fall back to chatgpt.com. Privacy: the extension runs locally, does not collect analytics, and does not send data to our servers.
