Save any page, image or selection to your stash. Dropstash is a quiet place for everything you save: links, images, text and PDFs, filed automatically and easy to find later. This extension puts it one click from any page. Somewhere along the way, saving something stopped meaning keeping it. Bookmarks sank into folders. Links piled up in chats with ourselves. Screenshots scrolled away. The feeds remembered everything about us and nothing for us. Dropstash is the quiet correction. A stash is a private place where your things stay put. A drop is all it asks of you: hand it a link, a picture, a thought, and it lands titled, tagged and searchable. No filing, no folders, no maintenance. The first thing you ever save stays as easy to find as the latest. This extension turns the whole web into a source. Save from anywhere - One click on the toolbar, or Cmd+Shift+S, stashes the page you are reading. Enter confirms it: two keys, and you never left the article. - Right-click anything and choose Add to my stash. Whatever was under your pointer is what saves: selected text becomes a note with a link back to its source, an image saves titled after its page rather than a filename, a link saves the page it points to, a video saves its page so the playable video comes along. - PDFs are kept whole: the first page becomes the cover and the file itself is saved, not just its address. The card builds itself The moment a save lands, Dropstash reads the page for you: the real title, a summary, the cover image and a few tags arrive on their own. Posts from X, Instagram and TikTok are kept as posts, author and all. Saving the same URL twice never makes a duplicate. You save mid-scroll; the card catches up seconds later. One rule, always Nothing saves without you pressing Add to stash. Every save shows a preview first, lets you pick spaces for it, and waits for your press. There are no standing scripts on any page; the dialog exists only in the moment you ask for it. Built on promises, not features - No feed. No algorithm. What you see is what you saved, in the order you saved it. - No ads. No tracking. No selling. There are no analytics in this extension at all. - Private by default. Nothing you save is visible to anyone unless you invite them. - Yours to keep, yours to leave. Your whole stash exports to a file any time, and deletion is real. - Independent, on purpose.
