Live wire log, flame timeline and time-travel debugger for AG-UI agents, in a DevTools panel. By Soverius AI. AG-UI DevTools shows you what your AI agent is really doing — event by event, on the wire. Open DevTools on any app that talks the AG-UI protocol (docs.ag-ui.com) and get a new AG-UI tab: • The wire, live — every event the agent streams (RUN_STARTED, TEXT_MESSAGE_CONTENT, TOOL_CALL_ARGS, STATE_DELTA …) with direction, timing and payload. Filter by category, export the session as JSONL. • Flame timeline — runs, messages, tool calls and reasoning as spans; click one for a Wireshark-style packet list with inter-event timing and the reassembled stream. • Multi-agent, at a glance — one swimlane per agent, overlapping invocations on their own tracks, and subagents drawn as bands inside the run that spawned them. See a researcher and a planner working in parallel, and which one stalled. • Time-travel debugger — scrub back through a run: the chat and shared state are rebuilt from events 0…n, every step narrated in plain English, every JSON Patch shown as a before→after diff. Breakpoints per event category, playback at recorded speed. • Protocol lint — sequencing mistakes (content without start, events after RUN_FINISHED, streams that never finish …) are flagged per run, including the subagent rules: announce before attributing, one invocation per subagent run, every invocation closed before RUN_FINISHED. • Any tab — click the toolbar icon to open the panel in its own window and attach it to any tab (great on a projector). Works with any client that consumes AG-UI in the browser (for example @ag-ui/client): Server-Sent Events over fetch, EventSource or XMLHttpRequest, the binary application/vnd.ag-ui.event+proto transport, and CopilotKit's GraphQL stream (best-effort mapping). Secure WebSocket (wss:) inspection is separately opt-in and requires the user to enter one endpoint origin or path prefix. Sockets outside that boundary are never tracked. A socket inside it is retained only after a complete AG-UI RunAgentInput or identified RUN_STARTED proves the protocol; arbitrary JSON messages are never treated as AG-UI. No code changes in your app. Opening the panel does not start capture. Before attaching, the panel prominently explains which tab data is processed and requires you to click Start AG-UI capture. Capture runs over the Chrome DevTools Protocol, so streams consumed inside Web Workers are seen too — nothing is injected into the page. Captured website content and URL metadata stay in your browser: the extension has no servers, analytics or accounts and does not transmit captured data to Soverius AI or third parties. Authorization, cookie, proxy-authorization and API-key headers are redacted before they reach the panel.
