Play and organize your own legal M3U, HLS, DASH, MP4, and MPEG-TS streams in Chrome. Tuner: M3U & Live Stream Player is a Chrome extension for watching and organizing your own legal live stream playlists. Add your own M3U/M3U8 playlist URL, paste playlist text, upload a local playlist file, enter a single stream URL, or connect to your own Xtream-compatible provider. Tuner does not include, sell, or provide any TV channels, playlists, subscriptions, or streaming content. Features: - Play HLS, MPEG-DASH, MPEG-TS, FLV, MP4, and other browser-supported streams - Organize channels by playlist, group, favorites, and recent history - Search, sort, and filter channels - XMLTV EPG support from user-provided or provider-declared guide URLs - Program guide grid with now/next details - Picture-in-Picture support - Multi-view mosaic mode - Quality, audio track, subtitle, and aspect ratio controls when available - Sleep timer, stream info, signal check, and auto-reconnect options - Chrome Live Caption and Cast/Remote Playback controls when supported by the browser Privacy: Tuner stores playlists, channels, favorites, recents, settings, and EPG data locally in Chrome extension storage. The extension does not use ads, analytics, tracking cookies, or public EPG lookup services. Important: Use Tuner only with streams, playlists, and providers you are legally authorized to access. Tuner is not affiliated with any IPTV provider, broadcaster, or streaming service. Permission Justification Snippet: Tuner requests broad HTTP/HTTPS host access so it can load user-provided playlist, stream, logo, and EPG URLs from different providers. Storage is used to save playlists, guide data, favorites, recents, and player settings locally.
