Download every image on a Pinterest board, with a folder for each section. Unpin saves a whole Pinterest board to your computer. Open a board and click Unpin. A panel opens over the page with the board, its sections and how many pins each one holds. Press Download board and the images start arriving in your Downloads folder at full size, not the small previews the page shows you. Each section becomes a folder. Pins that aren't in a section stay in the board's folder. File names come from the pin itself: its title, or the title of the page it links to, or its description, or Pinterest's own description of the picture, plus the site it came from. Pins that have none of that are named by the date you saved them. So you get "Wide celadon bowl - studio-tsuki.com - 3d5e50a1.jpg" rather than a string of digits. The same picture pinned twice, or saved in two sections, downloads once. Come back to a board months later and Unpin fetches only what you don't already have. While it runs, the progress bar is cut into one mark per section, each as wide as its share of the images, so you can see where it has got to. Stop whenever you like. Close the panel and carry on browsing if you prefer; the downloads keep going. There is no account to make and no server behind Unpin, and nothing in it tracks you. It reads the board you are looking at, signed in as you, and writes files to your Downloads folder. Nothing goes anywhere else. Chrome limits it to pinterest.com and its regional sites, and it only wakes up when you click the icon. It works on your own boards, secret ones included, and on any board you can open. Open a single section and it downloads just that section.
