Read any page at the depth you choose. Depth adds a floating panel to any article and lets you slide between five reading depths on the same page: - Glance - the single key sentence - Summary - five bullet points - Read - the full piece restated clearly, with key terms highlighted - Quiz - five comprehension questions - Dive - a Socratic dialogue grounded in the article It works on articles, essays, blog posts, documentation, PDFs (including arXiv preprints), Google Docs, Word and EPUB files, Markdown, Jupyter notebooks, and pages that have a visible transcript. Depth uses your own API key. Connect a major AI provider or run a local model - your requests go directly to that provider and never pass through Depth's servers. An optional hosted plan is available if you would rather not manage a key yourself. Open the panel with Alt+D or the toolbar icon. Your settings, keys, and cached summaries stay in local browser storage.
