YouTube's arrow keys move in fixed 5-second jumps. If what you want sits somewhere in the middle, you end up tapping forward, overshooting, tapping back, overshooting again. You are guessing, because you never see what you skip over. This extension replaces that with a hold-to-scrub control. Press and hold your key and the video moves continuously at the speed you set. Let go and it returns to normal playback, right where you stopped. What changes compared to the built-in controls: • Continuous instead of stepped. No fixed 5-second unit, so you can land anywhere. • You see what you pass. The picture keeps moving while you hold, so you can stop the moment you recognise the part you were looking for. • One press instead of many. Skipping two minutes is one held key, not 24 taps. • Your speed, not a preset. Set forward and backward speed separately — slow enough to read slides, fast enough to cross a long intro. • Works both directions, with the keys you choose. Defaults to the arrow keys; change them in Options if you use something else. • Settings apply immediately. Change a speed and it takes effect on tabs you already have open, with no reload. Useful for lectures, recorded talks, tutorials, long-form interviews — anything where you are hunting for a specific moment rather than skipping a known length. Free, no account, no data collected.
