LingoEcho turns YouTube videos and public webpages into interactive language lessons. Learn directly on ordinary webpages with floating tools, or use Chrome's side panel alongside YouTube. Learn from real content without leaving the page: - Read synchronized YouTube transcripts and jump to the current subtitle - Translate text and listen to original or translated audio - Click or drag across words for contextual definitions and phrase lookup - Practice pronunciation with shadowing and instant feedback - Discuss the current video or article with voice chat - Read and practise inside the original public article, with an optional clean fallback reader - Save videos, articles, and words to folders - Sync languages, saved items, learning history, and practice progress with your LingoEcho account - Switch themes and interface languages Privacy controls: LingoEcho asks for consent before learning features access page context or account data. On an ordinary webpage, click the LingoEcho toolbar icon to start local article identification and display the in-page learning tools. Cloud processing starts only when you use an online feature, save an article, or explicitly choose the fallback reader. Microphone access starts only after you select a voice feature. Review or withdraw consent at any time in Settings. Some features require a LingoEcho account, an internet connection, or a paid membership.
