Optional Pro ($5 once) adds batch converting, AVIF, JPEG XL, favicons, animations and presets. Right-click a picture, choose Brightjar, pick a format. You get a real converted file, not a renamed one, with the same name it had on the page. FREE, FOR GOOD: save as PNG, JPG or WebP from the right-click menu, as often as you like; Copy as PNG, ready to paste into any app; works on pictures inside links, like the cards on news and shop sites; quality slider for JPG and WebP (transparent areas turn white in JPG, never black); SVG to PNG at 1x, 2x or 4x; "Save original" when you want the file exactly as the site sent it; one keyboard shortcut (Alt+Shift+S) for your default format; choose a folder inside Downloads, or get the Save As box every time. YOUR PICTURES STAY ON YOUR COMPUTER: every conversion happens inside your browser. No image, page address or browsing history is ever sent anywhere. No ads, no tracking, no analytics, no affiliate links. We will never sell the extension or its users. Small permission list: at install Chrome only says it can "manage your downloads". If a site keeps its pictures on a different server, Brightjar asks for that one server when you first need it. ARTISTS KEEP THEIR CREDIT: the artist's name, copyright notice, credit line and license links stay inside every file Brightjar makes. An optional privacy setting removes location and camera serial numbers from your own photos, and still keeps the artist's name and copyright. Brightjar never removes watermarks and never gets around a site's protections. It only works on pictures your browser already shows and lets you save. Only save and convert images you have the right to use. Credit artists. PRO, $5 ONCE, FOR LIFE (OPTIONAL): try every Pro extra free for 14 days. No card needed, and nothing is charged when the trial ends. Free features never stop working. Convert many pictures on a page at once, saved as a ZIP or into a folder; save as AVIF or JPEG XL; keep animations as a GIF or an animated PNG; favicon pack (one .ico file with every size, plus PNGs); presets on the right-click menu, for example "Blog: 1200 px WebP"; rename patterns and folder rules for each site; convert files from your computer, without uploading them; settings sync between your browsers.
