Securely connect an approved Chrome tab to your self-hosted Axis. Connect your everyday Chrome to your self-hosted Axis node without giving a cloud browser access to your signed-in session. You choose when to attach a tab. While attached, Axis can operate that exact tab in the background and, if enabled, show a live view-only mirror in your Axis workspace. A visible ON badge identifies the attached tab. Stop Axis control at any time from the extension; navigating to a different site also revokes access. Site access is requested only when you attach a tab or explicitly remember a site. Each Chrome profile pairs independently with a one-time code and can be named and selected inside Axis. Axis is local-first and self-hosted. The extension communicates only with the Axis server URL you explicitly pair. It contains no advertising, analytics, remotely hosted executable code, or third-party browsing service.
