Key Features Multi-Source Reference Verification: Cross-references citations against public academic metadata sources, including Crossref, OpenAlex, and Semantic Scholar. Discrepancy Detection: Flags citation status via visual indicators: Match Found: Highlights records with closely corresponding publication details. Possible Discrepancy: Flags potential variance in fields such as publication year, author spelling, or title formatting. No Match Found: Identifies entries without matching metadata in the searched databases. Note: A non-match does not necessarily mean a publication does not exist. Retraction Alerts: Displays available retraction notices when provided in the records returned by supported metadata sources. Citation Formatting: Formats entries into standard styles, including APA (7th ed.), MLA (9th ed.), Chicago Author-Date, IEEE, and BibTeX.
