The Garden: By Kanioko This piece is heavily inspired by the artist's childhood experiences at their grandmother's house in the Brazilian countryside. It's about the feeling of bliss during the early childhood years, a time of curious exploration, and the memorable smells, sounds, and other wonders of that big backyard. Kanioko (he/they) is a Brazilian artist and illustrator. They are driven to tell stories for people who didn't grow up with the representation they felt they deserved. Their work is mostly character-focused, with humorous and quirky genderless personas, exploring themes such as queerness, identity, daily events, and nostalgia.
