Chrome's built-in AI is used when available. Optional Cloud AI is off by default and requires your consent. When enabled, submitted text and enabled personalization are processed by App City Studios and OpenAI. Ordinary typing does not trigger AI requests. COMPATIBILITY Works with many text areas and rich-text editors. Google Docs' canvas editor, Chrome's internal pages, and the Chrome Web Store have restrictions.
