Read selected page text one segment at a time in a full-page overlay. ReadVeil shows selected webpage text one segment at a time in a full-page overlay, so dense pages are easier to start and finish. How to use it 1. Select the text you want to read. 2. Click the ReadVeil toolbar icon, or right-click and choose “Read with ReadVeil”. 3. The overlay covers the page and shows the first segment. Use Next / Previous, the arrow keys, or the scroll wheel to move. Escape closes the overlay. What you can adjust • Font, size, and weight • Light, dark, or custom colors • Auto chunks (sentences and structure) or a custom word count Privacy Selected text is processed on your device. ReadVeil does not send your reading text to a server, and it does not use analytics or accounts. Only appearance and chunking preferences are saved locally in the browser. Notes • Works on ordinary http(s) pages. It cannot run on chrome:// pages or the Chrome Web Store. • v1 works best with languages that separate words with spaces (for example English). • ReadVeil is a reading display, not a medical device or treatment.
