A student selects an article, and Sourcer AI returns a plain summary, a breakdown of its rhetoric and argument strength, whether the headline actually matches the content, the agenda, and links to related sources so students can keep reading. It scores reputability across five dimensions- Verifiability, Independence, Integrity, Transparency, and Authority- into one score from 0 to 100, with the reasoning behind it. It flags where a source may lean politically. It never tells a student what to believe. Here is what Sourcer AI will not do. It will not tell a student whether a claim is true or false. That judgment belongs to the student. Building that judgment is the whole point. It will not hold open-ended conversations or write anything for them. Every analysis follows the same fixed format, and nothing more. Like any AI tool, Sourcer AI can get things wrong, especially when a source gives it little to work with.
