Try on the clothes on the page you are reading and hear an honest description. Built for screen reader users. Alt+Shift+D. Dress Aloud puts the clothes you are looking at onto your own full-body photo and then tells you, honestly, how it looks and whether it will fit. It was built with and for blind and low-vision shoppers, and everything it says is written to be heard through a screen reader. HOW IT WORKS 1. Add Dress Aloud. It opens once and asks for your access code and your full-body photo. That is the whole setup. 2. Browse any clothing store. When you land on a clothing page, your screen reader hears: "Dress Aloud: this looks like clothing. Press Alt plus Shift plus D to try it on." 3. Press Alt+Shift+D (or the toolbar button). The side panel opens and the try-on starts by itself: the picture is made, then described honestly: the bottom line, the fit, the colour, the drawbacks, and a plain buy / size up / don't buy assessment using your height, weight and measurements. If you gave a size, the buy link opens with that size selected. WHY IT IS DIFFERENT - No copying links. Dress Aloud reads the page you are on, as your browser sees it, including stores that block automatic readers. - Honest, not flattering. If it looks bad, it says so. - Made for ears, not eyes. Every step is announced; nothing depends on seeing the screen. - Ask follow-up questions about the try-on, hear it again in the voice you choose, and keep a history. Try-ons use a Dress Aloud access code (plans and packs at dressaloud.com). Your photo stays on your device and is only sent, together with the garment picture, to make the try-on you asked for.
